Our Broilers

As with our layers, our broilers spend their life on pasture too. We receive Cornish Cross birds as day-old chicks that spend their firs two to four weeks, depending on the time of year, in the brooder. They are then moved out to the fields where they are housed in range houses for their protection. Each house is pulled forward daily, Salatin-style, so that the birds can have access to fresh grass.
